Ministry Professional Supervision Australia was begun in 2020 by Simon Elliott, who after twenty years of church ministry in Anglican and a non denominational church recognized the tremendous gift that Supervision is to those involved in church work, and completed a Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision through St Marks Theological Centre.  Simon found a great love for this way of serving God and his church, and a way to use his many and varied experiences of ministry in diverse Parishes and different personalities. 

Church work is a blessing from God, and it is a privilege to do it, but it is difficult, and unique.  Nobody who is in church work wants to make a big deal of it in front of their congregation, but we often find ourselves on hand in people’s lives at the high and low points, regularly when people don’t know how to cope and look to us for wisdom and leadership, this experience on top of regular high relational expectations can wear you down, if you do not have someone to talk about.
